Kate Winslet and Harvey Keitel star in this absorbing two-hander littered with psychedelic flourishes. Winslet plays a young woman who has fallen into the thrall of a religious guru in India. Her family in Australia believe her to be brainwashed and hire Keitel’s brusque cult de-programmer to take her into the outback for rehabilitation. Isolated from the world, the pair become psychologically entangled in ways neither could have predicted.
