About
Only Angels Have Wings is an exhilarating tale of romance and daring from the legendary Howard Hawks. Featuring captivating lead performances from Cary Grant and Jean Arthur – and with a key early role for Rita Hayworth – the film is a richly textured adventure told with dazzling visual flair.
Geoff Carter (Grant) runs a small airfreight company in a South American port town. Barely keeping afloat and with his one lucrative contract in the balance, he must hire a disgraced pilot who arrives in the town with his new wife Judy (Hayworth) – Carter’s one-time love. Complicating the situation further is Bonnie (Arthur), a travelling entertainer, who finds herself enamoured by Carter’s charm and alluring fatalism.
Only Angels Have Wings will screen from a 4K digital restoration.
